Howard Anderson is building a resort in the Blue Mountains of Australia when his business partner Julian Fane arranges for an arsonist to burn it down so that he can collect the insurance. After the fire, Lloyds of London sends senior investigator George Engels to find out what really happened. Just when he comes close to solving the case, a brutal murder is committed.
