A story about the universal human struggle against the odds of nature and against one's self, just so the cycle of poverty can be broken. Can the cycle of the poverty be broken? The answer is yes.
The Village H.E.L.P. is one such story about how a village in Indonesia decided to heal its environment and liberate its people from years of poverty. The villagers are musically talented and good in making things out of rejected rattan. How can they turn these skills into a village economy so as to create a self-sustaining business? What are the life-changing decisions they have to make for this to happen? This is a story of that human struggle against all odds.
