A Finnish young woman travels to tropical Rio de Janeiro to search for her estranged sister after she learns from her brother-in-law that the sister mysteriously disappeared two months before. Sini is determined to find her sister and meets brother-in-law Jorge in Brazil.
She rebuffs his advances and instead gets involved with Jorge's black gardener Tiago. The new lovers continue investigating and end up looking at a corpse in a morgue. Fortunately, it later turns out not to be Sini's sister, who is still very much alive.
